Discussione sui vari Modem/Router FRITZ!Box

non vorrei credere che sia stato già dimenticato sto router. sarebbe una delusione da parte di AVM.
 
Ciao a tutti, vi ricordo che a settembre questo fantastico router compie 7 anni! Chissà se prima che diventi veramente vecchio la tim si degnerà di portare il 35b al mio armadio... Tecnicamente supporta la 300mega o può andare oltre? Per me 200-250 andrebbero benone! Buona Pasqua a tutti !

Salve ragazzi vi faccio una domanda per me non banale,secondo voi a breve uscirà sul mercato un modem che gestirà tutto compreso il WI-FI ? senza dover collegare altro? :)
 
Salve Vianello ma per funzionare il WI-FI dentro casa si deve collegare un altro modem in cascata o sbaglio?
 
Dipende dal Modem/Router in tuo possesso.
Ormai tutti i Router hanno il WiFi incorporato, non serve aggiungere nulla.

Mi accodo qui x non aprire una nuova discussione,il modem è il 7590 appena aggiornato all'ultimo firmware(7.59) ho messo delle telecamere e mi sono accorto che dopo 24/36 ore non mi collego più alla banda 2.4 mhz magari lo faceva da prima ma collegandomi pure a 5 mhz con lo smartphon navigavo comunque e non mi accorgevo.Mi chiedevo se è buona tecnica tenere nomi ssd differenti ,finora avevo nominato le 2 bande allo stesso modo.Grazie a chi mi darà risposta
 
Secondo me conviene sempre separare i due SSID, in questo modo decidi te in modo fisso a quale delle due bande collegare i vari dispositivi.

In questo modo se hai necessità che un dispositivo usi solo la banda 2.4 Ghz non avrai problemi
 
A mio parere personale uso stesso nome delle due bande e attivo il band steering (non so se si scrive così) da quando ho smartphone e 2 firestick mai avuto nessun problema, so qualche amico ha avuto problemi a collegare le telecamere sulla banda 2,4ghz non la trovava, a quel punto gli ho consigliato di spegnere momentaneamente il 5ghz, collegare la telecamera e poi riattivare la 5ghz, così ha funzionato
 
Segnalo che è disponibile la versione Beta (FritzLab) del firmware: 7.90, che ha una nuova funzione interessante: il monitoraggio della connessione, sia generale sia per singolo dispositivo (fino a 7 dispositivi). L'ho installato e lo sto provando perchè stavo cercando proprio il modo di monitorare la connessione di determinati apparecchi della mia rete
